Harry ʻEleu Robins

He kupa o ka ʻāina ʻo Waiʻanae, Harry ʻEleu Robins was raised beneath the malu of Kamaileunu in a home that holds Hawaiian values and ʻōlelo Hawaiʻi at the core of his ʻohana. After graduating from Kamehameha Schools Kapālama, he pursued a B.A. in Economics and a minor in Political Science from the University of Hawaiʻi at Mānoa. Upon receiving his diploma, his passion for protecting Hawaiʻi’s natural resources and environment led him to a career in sustainability so that he could continue the legacy of environmental stewardship and resource management of those who came before him. In 2023, after noticing a lack of Hawaiʻi-based sustainability consulting firms, he founded Pewa Group, a company dedicated to helping clients manage their environmental impact and identify opportunities to be more energy and water efficient to help pave the way toward a more sustainable Hawaiʻi. Pewa Group takes its name and ethos from the pewa (fishtail joint), traditionally used to mend cracks in things like an ʻumeke (calabash bowl), which exemplified a profound respect for resources and a commitment to sustainability. He is also a proud member of Hālau Nā Kamaleio Līlīlehua, a hālau hula based in Honolulu, Hawaiʻi.
