Peter Tuiolosega “Tui” Silva (he/his/oia) is the CEO of Kumukahi Health + Wellness on the Island of Hawaiʻi. Tui has been an advocate of the LGBTQ+/māhū community for over 25 years, and is the co-founder of community action groups such as Nā Mamo o Hawaiʻi and UTOPIA Hawaiʻi on O'ahu. Tui also served as an epidemiologist for the Hawaiʻi State Department of Health and a capacity builder for the Office of Minority Health in the Pacific. Tui is a 2023 Business of Pride Honoree with Pacific Business News. He and his partner reside in Hilo, where Tui was born and raised. Tui holds Bachelor’s degrees in Zoology and Hawaiian Studies from the University of Hawaiʻi at Mānoa.
