Farrah-Marie Gomes

Born, raised, and still living on Hawai'i Island, Farrah-Marie Gomes serves as the Associate Vice President for Student Affairs at the University of Hawaiʻi. She holds a Bachelor's degree in Psychology and Sociology from UH-Hilo, a Master's in Counseling Psychology from Chaminade University of Honolulu, and a Ph.D. in Educational Administration with a specialization in Higher Education and Educational Leadership from the University of Nebraska–Lincoln. Dr. Gomes is an active participant in community and civic organizations. She is a 2016 recipient of the Pacific Business News 40 under 40 award and was recognized by the same organization as a Woman to Watch as part of their Women Who Mean Business awards in 2017 and as an honoree at the 4th annual Business of Pride Awards in 2021.
